Well, she cut her hair and now she looks like Rachel Green circa 1996. Although at least she has some kind of style now, which is nice. Still looking rough in the face.

I kind of like her face...she has this sort of bar-whore coug look to her. She's got some character! You get the impression she's been arond the block a few times.

To be honest, I kind of prefer the slightly haggard look to the over-botoxed one. Still, she needs to lay off the smoking and tanning a bit.

Yes, smoking and tanning are the worst things for your skin! Maxima will soon look years older than her age if she doesn´t stop immediately.Her skin is as coarse as my mother´s. Smoking is very good for osteoporosis too, so if Maxima doesn´t take care, she will look like a stooping shrunken old woman already at fifty!

I saw some photos of Maxima, W-A, Beatrix and Amalia in Austria, and I have to say Amalia is looking cuter than she did previously. I agree she favors the Oranje-von Amsberg side, but her mouth is very "Maxima" and she actually looked pretty cute!

IMO, if you want to see a fugly baby, look at poor Eloise, Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien's daughter. She is very simian in looks...just like mom.

This is totally ridiculous. She's the daughter of her dad's second marriage, so her dad and her mom were married only by the civil law, and not in the church, which doesn't mean she wasn't baptised, because she was, as a Catholic, and had to change her religion to marry W-A.
She comes from a very wealthy and aristocratic family, went to the best schools and colleges, and ended up working in the US for a big investment bank while doing her postgraduate courses at Georgetown University, where she met W-A.
The only big scandal before the marriage was concerning the participation of his father in the militar dictatorship that ruled Argentina from 1976 to 1983 (he was the Agriculture Minister during some of those years). And I should know, because I'm from Argentina too.
(For the record, I don't know her personally, but have been to her brother's fancy restaurant in the South of Argentina)
