Thanks for the pics...those girls are adorable!
Question...in the More Pics II, there are people holding up a sign outside, any idea what it said? It looks like people were protesting something.

I ran my mouse over the picture, and it had something to do with Jorge Zorreguieta, Maxima's father. (For those that don't know the history, he was Undersecretary of Agriculture in Argentina during the regime of Jorge Videla, which was responsible for 30,000 people being murdered or "disappeared". He wasn't directly involved in any of that though.)
At first I thought it was awful that people were dredging that up again since none of that is Maxima's fault, but then I saw another picture showing Maxima's father sitting next to Queen Beatrix at the ceremony, so I guess that was the problem.

Yup, those signs were part of a small protest held outside of the church. Whenever Maxima's father comes over for whatever official function, protests have been present.

Wow, I had no idea...thanks for the info! It is a pity that people would protest at a baby's christening...

Wow. Apparently twice a month for the last 21 years, Willem-Alexander has flown for KLM! He has been flying Fokker 70s but is about to start training to fly 737s. Beat that, William and Harry.

I love this family. They seem to dig each other and the family seems happy despite tragedies.

I love that story so much. It's very endearing that he derives so much satisfaction from being responsible for his passengers, and that he's pulled the flying off anonymously for all these years. They do seem like a lovey, happy family.

That's an interesting 70s kind of pattern, and she really does pull it off well.
