I'm from Seattle. I remember walking down University Way and seeing a handwritten handbill tacked on a pole advertizing a warehouse concert with eight local garage bands. Nirvana was the fifth one down. Another band on the list was called "The Shit Kittens."

When they went big it was amusing because it was the kind of sound I had already heard for several years so it wasn't new to me, but it was also fun because they wiped the hairbands right off the charts.

The Shit Kittens! I remember them.

At the time, in Seattle, there were always friend-of-a-friend encounter stories going around about Courtney. None of them were good.

Looking through some old pictures of her on google, I think she should be the next person to have one of those creepy, morphing face videos. She's had a ridiculous amount of plastic surgery.

Also, I think it's funny that Courtney knows that had Kurt lived they would have had three children, blah, blah, blah. Weren't they headed for divorce at the time of his death? Charles Cross had people on record in his Cobain biography, Heavier Than Heaven, that Kurt had taken steps towards filing divorce papers and that their marriage was pretty much over at the time of his death.
