Is there any documentation that claims Kurt sought out attorneys before his death (although I guess if you're going to kill yourself, you probably don't care about the law)? I know the marriage wasn't in a good place and they both were active addicts.

Courtney sounds like a nightmare, but there's still a difference between being a rotten person and being a murderer. |

Before Nirvana's last show in Munich on March 1, 1994, Kurt and Courtney had a huge blowout on the phone that everybody backstage heard. (Courtney hadn't come to visit him on the road in a month. She'd missed his birthday and their anniversary, for no particular reason - she was just hanging out in LA. Kurt thought she was cheating on him.) Immediately after that phone call, Kurt called up their lawyer/friend/Frances's godmother, Rosemary Carroll and told her he wanted a divorce. That's according to Rosemary herself. He didn't actually follow through with it though. He attempted to reconcile with Courtney in Rome a couple of days later. It didn't work out, he attempted suicide, went into a coma, and after that he was pretty much off his rocker and non-functional. I think Rosemary Carroll also told people that Courtney had also contacted her at some point wanting to get a divorce lawyer, but it's not like the paperwork was ever in progress. |

Sort of off-topic: I stumbled across this plastic surgery website that says Frances Bean has had some work done. I have a hard time believing that "after" photo in the second set is actually her. Here's another site. I know a lot can be done with makeup and styling, but I hope she hasn't messed with her face so young. It was always so sweet to see her dad in her. |

Golly, I hope she doesn't start messing with her face. She's so young and beautiful! Most of the pics shown, to me it really looks like she's just over lined her lips and is using a darker color lipstick to add to their fullness. And the cheek thing could just be weight loss or losing youthful baby fat in the face. It's really only in the black and white photos that her lips actually look 'ducky' like maybe she had some injections.
Which I hope not! Beanie, dear. PLEASE look at some before and afters of Melanie Griffith and Lara Flynn Boyle. This is the future you want to AVOID!

That's what it looks like to me too. I don't think Frances would want to emulate her mother's negative qualities, plastic surgery addiction being one of them.

Courtney sounds like a nightmare, but there's still a difference between being a rotten person and being a murderer. Agreed. She was probably a horrorshow to be married to, but I also really doubt that being married to Kurt was kittens and rainbows. He was no picnic. |

I don't know. She's got A LOT of tattoos, so she's not opposed to body modding. Her face shape has changed dramatically and her lips quadrupled in size between her 'tween to teen years, but that just might be changes that happen with aging.

Bean looks like she has definitely had fillers in her lips, but fillers aren't plastic surgery; they're temporary fillers, despite what the media says. A nose job wouldn't surprise me, considering Courtney's original nose.
