So I was flipping late at night as usual, and I came across one of the Highlanders. Score! I love Highlander- love everything, the score by Queen, Sean Connery, Lambert's odd sounding accent, and to top it all off- the dude wears sneakers with a trench coat!
Anyone else a fan?

Oh, yeah. He was my complete crush growing up. Whatever happened to him? I remember him from the movie 'Subway'. Wasn't he abbusive to Diane Lane? I dont' know where I heard that.

I thought Josh Brolin (the guy she is with now, I think) was the one caught up in the abuse situation with Diane Lane (the cops were called but no charges were filed, or something). I hope it wasn't more than one guy!!!

I think he and Diane Lane have a child together don't they? They also made a crapfest movie together about a genie or some such nonsense. He was gorgeous back in the day, especially with his bleachblonde do in Subway.

Mr. cyclone is obsessed with Highlander. I got him Duncan's (or is it Connor's?) "MacLeod" sword for his b-day last year. It hangs in our apartment in the window above our sliding doors so you can see it from the street.

That first Highlander movie was something else! I remember catching it late night, before it became a cult thing and before the sequels and series were made. I was like why have I never heard of this movie? I don't think the original was ever in the theatre and became popular long after the release. Lambert/MacLeod is hot!
