Maybe they meant Charlie. I can't see Martin hanging out with the young single guys. It's definitely Martin, as shown in the pictures. I remember Chris Penn, playing in the Jay-Z, Ja-Rule video years ago. The song was, "Can I Get A"...Chris was behind a bar, dancing with a martini shaker. Very sad. |

He was in "To Wong Foo..." as the cop who was on a mission to find "Guys wearing girls clothes!". IMDb.com is saying he's 40. Some other reports claim he was 42 or 43. But I gotta say that I'm perplexed by the Martin Sheen connection. |

RIP, Chris. What a wide variety of movies, he did - everything from Reservoir Dogs to Beethoven's 2nd (the St. Bernard movie).
I think I recall reading sometime that the Penns and Sheens were friends

I loved Chris Penn in movies and it's sad he is gone but the snarker in me cannot resist asking: I wonder if Sean was outside the building, crying, "Is that my brother in there?!?!?!?!ARRGHGNGFFFFN!!"

Holy crap indeed. Though it's entirely likely that Chris died from something other than natural causes, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that it was. Another talented and really nice actor, Jim Zulevic, just passed a couple of weeks ago from a heart attack at age 40. His death seems to have been from natural causes. Oy. In any event, it's very sad - RIP, Mr. Penn, and condolences to all. |
