He looked like he was in terrible health. That red splotchiness in his face--doesn't that indicate heavy drinking?

I read that a bartender at a local hotel said that Chris was often there in the morning drinking. Sadly, he may have sped up his demise.

Yahoo says he "weighed more than 300 pounds and had a history of drug abuse". I keep thinking about Celebrity Fit Club and how he would have been a perfect candidate.

The Globe & Mail is now reporting the coroner's results. "Penn had suffered from an illness and used multiple drugs in the past, said David Smith, a Los Angeles County coroner's spokesman. He declined to release details of the illness or say if the drugs were prescribed.
Medical examiners performed an autopsy Wednesday but won't know what caused Penn's death until toxicology tests are completed in about six weeks."

I wonder what the "illness" was.

I remembered Michael Penn's name (yeah, I totally know all the words to that "Romeo in Black Jeans" song, kill me now), but I didn't realize he was related to Sean and Chris and I didn't know he was married to Aimee Mann. Weird.

I've seen his name mentioned in a lot of the articles related to Chris' death. I hadn't heard of him before the articles, so obviously they've mentioned him enough to spark my interest. I wonder if we'll ever truly know what happened?

No shame, Georgianna. I loved that song.
