She's either a refreshingly sensible starlet or at least has enough sense to hire someone good to prepare her for interviews. I don't think I'd mind if TDWP made her an actual star. karin, I'm glad that you liked Anne's performance. The movie just seems like it could be such fun.

Yeah, she's got spunk, I like her, despite thinking she was so annoying in the Princess Diaries movies. Is Keira Knightley really so in demand? I guess cause she was nominated for an Oscar... But Anne was in a movie that was nominated for a bunch fo Oscars!

I may be in the minority here, but I thought she was amazingly good in Brokeback Mountain. It may be because I read the story before I saw the movie, and that Anne's character in the story was hardly in it, so the fact that she was able to flesh out the character even a little bit, especially at the end, really impressed me. I'll even say she was as good, if not better than, Michelle Williams. BBM convinced me she has what it takes to be an interesting actress.

Those are nice quotes from her. Right now, any starlet that doesn't get freakishly thin and does drugs is looking more and more ok in my book.

I thought she was really good in BBM! Both she and Michelle Williams did great jobs, but Anne seems to have been overlooked by the critics. I thought her character was very interesting - the constantly increasing bitterness over the years! And all through the movie, while the audience knows that MW's character knows about what's going on, it's assumed that AH's character is in the dark - until the end when she's talking to Ennis on the phone, telling him about Jack's death. You could tell by her voice that she knew exactly who he was and exactly what had been going on. That scene on the phone was a great little piece of acting, IMO.

She was my favorite part of BBM which is surprising since she was rarely mentioned around awards time. I really hope TDWP does well. It looks really cute and it has Meryl Streep, who can never do any wrong in my book. Sad to say I'll be in line for this next week instead of Superman. I think she has a good chance at a very decent career.

Darn, I have a really busy weekend, but maybe I can go see TDWP next week.
She always caught my attention. I think she's really pretty when she isn't made up to look like a clown. The only thing that ever annoyed me about her was that she kept bringing up Julia Roberts. Honey, please, don't. I'm blaming most of that on Garry Marshall, though.
