I looooooove PJ. She and Patti Smith are my female musical heroes. They are strong women who refuse to play the gender game. They rock because they do.
I check PJ's site often but there is no new news right now. Hopefully that means she's writing some new material. I've seen her live 5 times and was lucky enough to see her in a small club on her last tour.
For a tiny woman she can kick ass on stage. Big presence. Big voice. Big mouth.

Although I can't find the article just now, I read on ONTD a few days ago that she's coming out with a live DVD, to be released in May.
To which I say, OMGIAMEXCITED.

I HAVE to get this when it comes out. I've loved PJ for years. And niddlemiddle I adore her live version of "Wand Dang Doodle" I have it on one of my mix CDs. Thanks for the link! |

Love her hopelessly. She's amazing. Though, I thought she wasn't touring anymore since she had her kid? Guess not.

I don't like her at all. I think she's overrated, fake, fug and intensely smug.
All photographs of her freaky mug seem to be unflattering by design.

PJ does not have a child. Her most recent tour was just over a year ago.
