I think I'm the only one who actually thought the Revolutions scene was...hot isn't the right word, I'll agree. Something...Neo was just so vulnerable in that scene. But the hotness isn't helped by the androgyny and the physical similarities of Neo and Trinity. I don't know - I liked it, anyway.

But I think most critics and viewers hated the whole orgy dance thing and the accompanying love scene so my bridge is a lonely one.

I'm just happy he's about to film another movie with Sandra Bullock. I hope the Americanize a sex scene right into Il Mare.

In The Matrix 2, I liked the love scene but the rave scene just was too moist and nipply. When Keanu is in many love scenes, sometimes he's the passive one and his partners are so much stronger and aggressive. He's not the typical strong studly leading man but he has a sweet vulnerability.

I loved the Reloaded sex scene; I hated the fact that it was intercut with the Rave. The sex between Trinity and Neo seemed very real, so real that it was almost embarrassing to watch; they both seemed very vulnerable, and I was seriously turned on. The Rave, though, seemed really posed and not real at all. Even the people in it were all supermodel types, all young, all trying too hard to look sexy.

He''ll be here in Chicago filming Il Mare with Sandra Bullock. I also heard he was teaming up with Spike Lee for a film.

I love me some Keanu. I used to be indifferent to him, until I watched Something's Gotta Give. He was all kinds of sexy in that movie.

He's had some pretty bad things happen to him; the baby's mother died in a car crash a few years later. He's very private;he doesn't go on Barbara Walters and cry about them.

He had a film,Thumbsucker, at the Berlin and Toronto film festivals and he plays a hippy dentist. He is also in "A Scanner Darkly",directed by Richard Linklater and it's an animated film like "Waking Life".

I read the book Thumbsucker, and it will be interesting to see how it translates to film, because the book? Is veddy veddy strange.

Topic? I've been hearing stories of Keanu since high school (a six degrees of separation thing), and everybody sings his praises. He is by all accounts a gentle and sincere person. But then you guys knew that already. ;o)

Word, Mimsy18. ::whispers: I can even watch A Walk in the Clouds for him. I know it's an awful film and would any guy be so sweet to a girl who threw up all over him and pinched his ticket if she wasn't pretty? But I can't help it - it's Keanu!

He has always come across to me as a good person, so I am really happy to hear that. Even though I know that many, if not most, entertainers have public personas crafted by their pr people and do not reflect the real person, I am always giddily happy when I hear that someone famous like Keanu really is a good person. //because I am a dork//

This movie, combined with all of the good stories from the FT Keanu thread, finally killed my Keanu apathy. I think I kinda love him now. I'm firmly in stage 7, per Gwendy's list.

But I'll never forgive him for Feeling Minnesota
