I don't like her, but I don't see what the problem is either.
Yeah, it really bothers me that "bitch" is acceptable on the basic channels now and guess what the most insulting thing that can be said to a man on basic tv? "Son of a bitch"

No reaction from me, especially in the context and it was name of one of the monologues that she said, no thanks on this one.
Always liked Fonda's performances; but she was batshit screwy during the Vietnam war with her pronouncements. And I was one who sympathized with the leftists about the war. Loved the actress, not so much the person.

I just came from the gym, where the O'Reilly factor was up on one of the television sets. I couldn't hear what he was saying, but they kept showing clips of Jane Fonda on the talk show over and over again, sometimes in slow motion. It was ridiculous. I think given the context, it wouldn't be inappropriate to say Bill O'Reilly had a giant boner over this.

I was expecting something really out there (just saw a clip on MSNBC), but I don't think her usage was unacceptable and it didn't merit an explanation or apology.

God, if she made that jackass dr Phil uncomfortable, I want Jane to get a medal! All this outrage about the c-word needs to go away -- no fines or apologies should be required.

As much as I hate her for Vietnam, I'm not bothered by what she said on The View, she was discussing a project in an appropriate context that a smart, educated adult should be able to process without clutching their pearls. Jane gets a pass from me on that one.
EEEEEW!!!
Awesome.

I love Jane. And I love that Meredith didn't much mind when Jane said the word. I bet Meredith was rolling her eyes before she had to issue that lameass apology.

Looks like a fifty-something country music star circa 1987...which is awesome considering she's 75!

I'm not a fan of the color, but it was a bold choice. Good for her!
