I never watched Everybody Loves Raymond, but Mr. Boyle was truly one of the great character actors.

Tonight I'll watch "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" (one of my favorite X-Files eps ever) in his honor.

"Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" was one of my absolute favorite X-Files episodes; Boyle was so funny and heartbreaking in that role. Loved Young Frankenstein, too.

He was John's best man at his wedding to Yoko.

I'm glad that he decided to become an actor instead of a Christian brother because he was wonderful.

I always think of him when I hear "Oh Sweet Mysteries of Life" since that song always heated things up with Madeleine Kahn's character. I'm sure that they're singing it together right now, in the great beyond.

He looked awful when I saw him on Mind of Mencia earlier this year. It's so freaking sad, he was the best part of Everybody Loves Raymond and he was in one of the best episodes of The X-Files ever. I'll miss you Peter.

RIP Mr. Boyle. I love that episode of The X-Files (he won the guest actor Emmy for that role).

He had the same kind of cancer that killed my dad, and I can say with some authority that it's painful and debilitating. He must have been incredibly tough to get up and go to work every day. Such a shame.
