I haven't seen her in anything except the Green Day video with Jamie bell and I thought she sucked quite badly in it. Last I heard, she was dating him (J. Bell).

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I actually thought she was okay in the video. Sure the freakout scene was melodramatic but I've seen people freak out just like that.

She is the only one of the young actresses around her age that I truly, genuinely like. She's classy and smart, and even though she's thin, she's always been like that and it looks normal on her.

So, so lovely.

Now, if she's dating Ed Norton, why is that bad? Does it only have to do with age? I know nothing about him (other than I like him as an actor), and wouldn't know if he was an ass.

Most likely it is the the age difference. Also some posters say Ed is a jerk so they might oppose it for that reason. Though what would really bother me is if the thing about her being bitchy to the waitress was true. I hate it when people are rude like that.

I don't know, if she were like a 15 year old girl that(her rumored relationship with Ed Norton) would be squicky; but she's almost 19 and some 19 year olds can be mature enough to handle that sort of age difference in a relationship. The gap of 20 years seems weird but it's Hollywood.

Didn't Patrick Dempsey back in the 80's marry some 50 year old woman? Weird things happen all the time.

Norton has been complaining for a while that this movie had no distribution, so I can't help thinking that those "are-they-aren't-they" sightings are plants to drum up interest the film.

It's just me against the world in thinking this, but I thought Thirteen was truly idiotic and she was awful in it. So was that other kid. The saving graces, such as they were, were the adult actors.
