I guess she has given up any thoughts of returning to journalism.
I don't know what her thought process was - but she sounded drunk to me. JMO

I thought it was funny, in a very, very painful way. I laughed when I could bear to peek from behind my pillow. I think if it was Meredith Viera--and she has done worst--she could have pulled it off and retained some semblence of dignity.

Saw it. Loved it.
Miss Chung should be on The View. She could replace Miss Walters, who is fun, too, but perhaps a bit tres demented. Miss Chung, on the other hand, is a FUN drunk.
I always knew that there was an angry gal beneath all that spunky perk of Miss Chung's.

Drunk or not, she would be a lot more informative and entertaining than Star or Bitsy. I wonder if she would take the gig.

I never got the two of them as a couple. That show was the equivalent of a Rumsfeld's version of shock and awe. They have got to be the weirdest pairing since Anne Coulter and Bill Maher.

Dude. That whole singing thing was one of the greatest things I have ever seen. It is so painfully bad - the part when she sort of stops and "oomphs" off of the piano is so, so funny That was my favourite part!! Honestly, that is the most fabulous thing I've seen in a while. I can't bear to watch it again but man, it was awesome. lol My other favorite part besides that one is the pianist (why did they need him there when he didn't play?) just sitting there with this big fake grin on his face looking like he wanted to die.

I thought it was funny how he was pretending to play but no noise was even heard. And then she plops down after it was over. I really hope that was all meant to be a joke and it just didn't come off well.

One of the best clips of this generation. I died when she got off the piano and grunted.

I think the response to the clip is unfair. It's a joke-didn't anyone listen to the lyrics? Go, Connie!

My best friend and I watched it today. It was like a train wreck, and we loved the Grunt O' Disembarking as well. The collapse at the end took everything down a Fellini-esque road, where love is pain, and a bad Barbie dress is appriate torch song wear.
I applaud you, Connie, you spirited old gal, you. You have to respect a woman who did what she wanted, when she wanted, not caring about how she would be judged.
