You're not alone, her clothing line sucks and she dresses shitty and her hair is badly overly bleached. Needs a complete makeover. IMO

Oh yeah, any opportunity to pimp the LAMB and she takes it.
That may be the most surreal sentence I've ever typed.

Not a fan of the LAMB.
It bugs me that she's lauded as some style icon. She has a stylist, and I think her stylist is also her business partner/designer of the LAMB range.
Bah.

The Harajuku youth culture is hardly new. It's been around in Tokyo since at least 1982; it was named after a fashionable neighborhood that had many boutiques. Young models, singers, designers, and actresses would hang out there every Sunday to dance and display their clothes. Check out the November 1982 issue of French Vogue.
Not as cutting edge as she thinks she is.

Harajuku culture has been around for a while, as some of us know, however, some of this side of the world is obviously barely discovering it (thanks in part to Gwen). I don't know if that's a good thing or not.

Man, I really thought Britney's 'Do Something' was the pinnacle of crap pop music, but 'Hollaback Girl' is in a league of its own.

Indeed. I mentioned it in the "Music that makes you want to rip your ears off" thread but I'll say it here too.
"Holloback Girl" has to be the most annoying, insipid, useless and most migraine inducing song ever. I never hated anything Gwen did until now. That song makes me want to track her down and smack her.
I may have to settle for sending nasty emails to the djs who insist on playing it.

"Hollaback Girl" gets worse when you see it in conjunction with the awful video, which is a ripoff of Toni Basil's classic "Mickey."
Forgive me but I am old and out of touch - is Hollaback Girl really a "hip" expression or did Gwen pull this out of her ass? I looked it up on urbandictionary.com and got both answers. Anyone got the truth here?
