If you're a white sorority girl, then it's a "hip" expression. otherwise, you just roll your eyes.

Well, if it's hip you should colour me geek forever, because I'll eat glass before I say something Gwen Stefani has sung. I'm even trying to think of a new name for B-A-N-A-N-A-S.

[tiny voice] I like "Hollaback Girl" actually ... it does have possibly the stupidest lyrics ever committed to paper, and yes, Toni Basil was ripped off for the video, but it refuses to leave my brain nonetheless ... [/tiny voice]

Welshgrrl, it's running through my head 24/7 as well. And I really don't like it. So I'm going to gouge my brain out of my ear, with a spoon.

Love her or hate her, Gwen has always been able to write a mad hook for a song. Don't know that it's always a good thing though.

A good hook is good when you want a single, but for a career it really grates. Seriously, I can't remember five songs she's sung with No Doubt and even if I could I sure as hell wouldn't want to listen to them again. No substance, no depth, no way. History proves that point over and over again.

Just saw her on Ellen the other day and girlfriend needs to get back into shape. She performed her one song and was breathing heavily less than half way through. I guess I should be happy that she was actually singing at all.

As her LAMB range of clothing is rather expensive, Gwen is designing a more affordable line called Harajuku Lovers. First cab of the rank: Harajuku Lovers Digital Camera, with matching bag, strap and trinket all designed by Gwen. It will match the underwear she'll be bringing out soon. Yeah. Seriously. I love No Doubt and I've liked her music up til now but this Harajuku thing has to stop.

A camera to match underwear?
If you really have to be THAT coordinated, you should be on drugs to fix it.

I would have said that but when I got an ipod and started making playlists I remembered how many songs they had just on Tragic Kingdom: Sunday Morning, Just A Girl, Spiderwebs, I Saw Red, Only Sixteen, Don't Speak.
The rest of it is pretty iffy I'll admit, but those are some good songs. I didn't think it was possible to hear a song as many times as I've heard Don't Speak and still be able to like it.
