Here's a first, I agree with absolutely everyone on here! I think it's fine that she's pro Catholic AND pro choice, we need more of that. I also think there did reach a point in her career when she absolutely only cared about looking fuckable, I think she's absolutely beautiful but also boring and incredibly annoying and so I can completely relate to anyone who side eyes everything she does.

My heart hurts thinking about "I Used to Love You." It was released as my marriage was crumbling around me.
Her pink ombre wedding dress was beautiful!

I thought I read how they were waiting to get married until the Vatican gave her an annulment for her marriage to Gavin because, as a Catholic, she couldn’t marry Blake in the Catholic Church without it. Wonder if it finally came through or she decided to move forward and not get married in the Catholic Church.

I loved that dress too
Why would they give her an annulment?

Getting an annulment is not that difficult depending on your diocese. Basically all you have to do is provide evidence that the marriage wasn’t valid at the time it was performed. Gavin’s infidelity could have been the basis of her case.
If Gwen is devout, she will wait for the annulment. It she remarried without one she wouldn’t be able to receive communion at mass, and that is pretty important to practicing Catholics.

I didn't have an opinion of Gwen Stefani until she was on The Voice and God she was awful. She seems like a complete airhead, isn't helpful at all in coaching actual talent, and only seems to care about dressing up her singers and acting like a twenty year old. She's such a waste on that show. And I don't think she can even sing that well.

As if she's in a state of protracted adolescence. I'm not sure what her early life was like, but it makes me wonder. I don't mind her singing voice. She's neither the greatest nor worst singer in existence. For me, her songs are kind of meh. This just came to me, but I wonder how many of those people who dislike Taylor Swift like Gwen. Both mine their love lives for material, and can come across as teenybopper.

My grandfather's second wife was divorced, and they just had a city hall ceremony. They had been married for over 40 years when my grandfather died. As far as I know, my step-grandmother has always taken communion at mass. I think it's one of those rules that aren't strictly enforced everywhere.

Now I have a picture of her wedding dress in my head, a dress for the ages. So unique.

I haven't thought of her in years. And now I am again. Let's reminisce about the time she put four Asian American women on leashes, L, A, M, and B, and when Margaret Cho and others criticized her she made herself the victim. And her intended runs over turtles? What a cool couple.
