I just watched the trailer for "V for Vendetta" on the movie's website, and.....um.......I don't know what to say. It didn't really grab my interest. I thought it would be natalie doing a lot of the action, but it looks like some guy in a mask is doing all the stuff. I dunno, i'll reserve judgement until I see more. links for trailer

The trailer looks so, so boring.

Hmmm, I am not familiar with the comic, so what I saw made no sense. It looks sort of cartooney in a Zorro sort of way...

In other words, she's been bored with every role since Leon.

Oh for crying out loud, GREAT work ethic, Nat! (I could see if she were working at Wal*Mart, but she's an actress! Don't take the part if you're "bored" by it!)

I will definitely see V despite Portman's appearance. I read this for the first time back in college in a Graphic Novel course. It really is a terrific read. I just hope they don't spoil it for me.

In other words, she's been bored with every role since Leon. How stupid of her. As I mentioned earlier, for the sake of the fans, she should have put much more effort into it. Everyone else seemed to have a ball with the parts they were given, cheesy lines or no. In fact, the cheesy lines may have made it more fun. Tell me about it. She's getting paid millions, not $7.25 an hour. She's just being disdainful and snobbish. She's been to HAH-VAHD!! Furthermore, in addition to hte millions she gets all sorts of perks and goodies.

Hmm. I'll have to read it. Although from what I've heard the movie is completely nonfaithful to the graphic novel. I heard the fans are pissed about the betrayal or something. Now back on the Natalie topic: Is she still a terrible actress? Is she still phony? Is she still pretentious?... ...Yup on all accounts. Okay then, nothing has changed since the last time I was here.

I think she was sorely miscast in Star Wars. OK, the writing generally sucked, and the acting at times could suck in a way that occurs only a George Lucas film, but she really stood out as bad, and that's saying something. Of course, in all fairness she could rock the third movie, I haven't seen it yet, but she comes across as really amateurish in the other two.
That said, I thought she was great in Leon, *ok* in Garden State, and overhyped in Cold Mountain.

who has seen the trailer for V for Vendetta? What do you think of her performance thus far in it? I quite like her British accent
