Rose’s comment is what’s offensive. Thank goodness all feminists aren’t like her, because if there were, I don’t think any progress would ever be made. She doesn’t own feminism and she doesn’t get to decide if someone else’s form of activism is good enough.

Also, Natalie has been evolving into more of an activist over the past few years. She spoke out for the first time about inappropriate incidents that happened to her when she was younger that she didn't realize were inappropriate at the time.

She said very recently that until she got involved in Time's Up, she had one and only one actress friend, and she now realizes there is something wrong that.

She's doing more and more. Criticizing people for not always having been perfect their whole lives, or not doing enough, is a really bad attitude to take. If Natalie starts accepting awards for it or something - ok, then question what she's actually done to deserve that. But criticizing her because she DID do something is just stupid.

A French publican has run a story about Natalie’s husband having an affair with a 25 yr old. According to People magazine the affair is true but was short-lived and is now over. Although there are pics online of Benjamin and the rumoured affair partner entering / exiting the same building as recently as a week ago. So must be over as of like yesterday?

Interestingly Page Six reports that they split last year, reconciled and now she’s found out about the affair so I’m curious if the split back then was prompted by him seeing someone else and now he’s cheating again.

Reminds me that he cheated on / ditched his live in gf when he hooked up with Natalie on the set of The Black Swan.
