Amazing actor. World's sexiest man. Puerto Rico's finest. Let's talk some Raul Julia. You know you miss him!

My nuts?
Seriously, I cried during Romero. Man was amazing.
And Street Fighter is one of my absolute guiltiest guilty pleasures, or at least it was during my teenaged years.

I love him. And as bad as Overdrawn at the Memory Bank was, he was fully hot in it.

I remember falling for him while seeing a movie of his and Susan Sarandon's (Compromising Positions). It was so confusing to me since I was in high school and he was the same age as my father. The man was hot.

Aw, geez, do you wanna make me cry? Had the pleasure of working with him. A gentleman. Humble. Devoted to his family. He was pretty sick during "Addams Family Values," but worked like a dog because he wanted to make a lot of money for his family so they wouldn't have to worry about money after he was gone. So sexy. Had the good fortune to see him in "Nine" on Broadway. Sexiest performance I've ever seen in live theater - altho Alan Rickman in "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" comes mighty close. His agent at the time was a guy in NYC who handled a lot of people with serious theater cred - they'd all worked at the Public, they all made Shakespeare look easy, those kinds of actors. It was just class, class, class all the way. Raul's wife was very lovely. Also majorly classy. By the time I met her he was already gone, and she was very gracious as I blubbered and wept at her.
While I loved sexy and smoldering Raul, I also loved comedic Raul. He was hilarious in "The Tempest" and there's a bit in "Addams Family Values" where he's screaming about how Fester drives a Buick that never fails to make me howl.
RIP, you beautiful man.

Oh, now I'm gonna cry, Wol.
Now I really do need to see Romero. The archbishop is one of my heros.

I laugh out loud when he says it. He was a good looking man, but I cannot find him hot since he resembles my father quite a bit. One question, what did he die of exactly?

Yeah, it was. I was pretty sad to hear that he passed on. I was just beginning to discover his work...

Raul was a class act (I was terrified that there were going to be sordid secrets in this thread), and he stole Kiss of the Spider Woman from William Hurt. William Hurt, people!
