The Insider had the husband's nanny on and she said that she was Miss Evans BFF and she didn't shag the husband. But the nanny didn't say anything about anal sex.

The nanny also said that Miss Evans and she went on a diet together and that Miss Evans made her anorexic.

I saw that story on ET and the nanny was saying they competed against each other to see who could lose the most weight in the shortest amount of time, basically by starving themselves, but Sara quit when she got pregnant (again, as she had started the "diet" to lose baby weight). Nanny ended up with an eating disorder but denied that Sara ever had one. Also, Sara was the matron of honor at her wedding earlier this year, Sara's kids were in the wedding, and ET will have the video tomorrow. The nanny is an aspiring singer and Sara had invited her to sing backup on her tour next year, but I guess that's not going to happen.

I have issues with the sodomite comments. I guess I can understand the affair thing blindsiding you, but surely you'd know that your husband is a raging homophobe, right? I'm sure he didn't just pick this as the first time ever to talk like that. And if she did know, why was she with him and having one child after the other? I know I could never live with someone like that. And it's not like she had to stay with him for financial reasons.

Borokat, is the coverage you're seeing in the Tennessean (and, presumably, on the Nashville TV stations) par for the course when it comes to country-music scandals (e.g., Vince Gill and Amy Grant, Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks)?

The local evening news has been running stories about Sara for the last few days. If I recall, Garth and Trisha and Vince and Amy got no coverage. Seriously. It is almost like they have revised history and both of these couples have had lifelong relationships. I think that they are reporting on Sara because the sordid details are out in the open, and no one even accused Garth and Vince of being addicted to porn.

That quote that twodollars linked to is cringeworthy. Sara sounds like a glorified sex slave. And even THAT was not enough for this asshole. You would think divorce would be a relief. At least now she can develop some damn hobbies and not be her husband's personal concubine every night.

I don't know what Sara's views on gays are, but she has some scary views on women and marriage:

That Hazel woman's obnoxious -- as if the Chesney/Zellweger annulment was obviously and completely Renee Zellweger's fault, with never a thought as to what the little freak (don't get me wrong, I like his music and used to think he was cute) might have done to provoke Renee's departure, just because he's Nashville and she's not.

Hazel Smith will do the same for Sara. I love Sara's songs, such as Coalmine and I Could NoT Ask For More. Nashville media will be too kind to Sara because Sara is Nashville. Renee never attempted to be Nashville (support your spouse, don't overshadow his career, turn your head and remain silent when things go bad, and be seen, not heard, around town). Nashville loves Nicole because she plays along.

The nanny is having her 15 minutes of fame by giving several interviews. The only smart thing she said was about the children. I hope Sara and Craig handle the split privately and spar their children. However, since the papers and case are so public, this may be impossible now.
