Peter Andre was pretty big in NZ - Mysterious Girl was number one for aaaages. The rumors about him having had lipo to get his abs, and also the 'ab muscle implants', have been shot down many, many times. He simply had a great body as a result of hard work - he was a young man when his first few singles were released.. And did ANYONE really use lipo/implants to sculpt thier body in Australia, in 1990, especially 18 year old boys? Not likely.

That E! promo is pretty hilarious! Someone must have been paid a fortune to put a good spin on the two talentless fame whores. I watched an episode of her show a few weeks ago and it was terrible. She was a whining, unlikeable brat.

I'm also not surprised to hear the news of her reported fortune. These days it doesn't take talent to be rich and famous with the huge tabloid culture.

Apparently, Lola's husband got some dodgy engineer to design his wife's boobs so that her body could actually accomodate such huge implants. And, once they'd got the design issues sorted out, they then had to trawl from surgery to surgery to find a surgeon who was willing to put such gazoombas in a woman. Icko.

What happened to Lolo was tragic. By all accounts she was an intelligent girl (her childhood/teenage dream was to be a doctor, but her mother, who was mentally ill, repeatedly told her she was too stupid until she agreed not to go to medical school) and was badly emotionally and physically abused. She was forced into porn fairly young, and hated it and buried those feelings in alcohol and drugs. I read some of her writing, which was published after she died, and she seemed very self-aware of her own traumas and knew her extreme body manipulation and substance abuse were attempts to escape those traumas, but she just wasn't able to deal with them in a healthier way. Plus she was surrounded by people who tried to keep her that way.

Jordan I don't think compares. She seems much more in control of her image and career, and if you've ever seen her when she's not being Jordan (she used to live in the country and keep horses; I've seen footage of her mucking out her horses, wearing sweaters and no makeup, and she was unrecognizable) it makes you realize how much it is an act. It's almost Sybillic the way she has created such a thorough alternate persona.
