I agree that she isn't smug about it, and I wish more women in entertainment looked like her. I feel bad for her in the sense that weight is such an issue in Hollywood that it's pretty much unavoidable for her to talk about it - even though her weight is totally normal and should be a nonissue.

Ugly Betty? Worst written show on television!

Good concept. Good actor as main star. Awful show.

Dialogue sucks. And even the more interesting storylines just drag without delivering.

I have to say in addition the Sophia storyline didn't do it that much good either. I love Salma but this was one time she didn't pull it off.

I was flipping through the channels yesterday and Traveling Pants was on. It was a scene with her so I watched that, but as soon as her scene was over, I flipped to the next channel.

When I was living in the UK, my flatmate thought she really looked like Betty and couldn't understand how she got the job- she also didn't get the point of the show. Me and my other flatmate tried to tell her how gorgeous she really is and that was her costume. She didn't believe us.

Yeah, she was easily the best thing about that movie. Amber Tamblyn did an okay job, but her storyline was pretty cheesy (the blonde gal was okay and I'm still confused as to how Alexis Bledel continues to have an acting career). I kinda feel sorry for America because she really wanted to do a film that Salma was producing this summer, but the studio up and decided they wanted a sequel to the Traveling Pants movie and she was under contract.

It's nice to see a talented 20-something actress dressing well and not stoned. It gives me hope.

Sing it. She seems so grounded. And I like that she managed to go to college while still acting here and there - and I like that while she's one class away from her degree and hasn't had a chance to finish because she's been so busy, she has said that she will graduate because she promised her mom. And I totally believe her on that - apparently America is the youngest of several children in that family and I think her mom is a single mom, and America always seems extremely grateful for everything her mom has done for her.

Watch - now that I've said that she's gonna go on a bender and drive through a shopping mall drunk and then set her mom on fire.

Oh, that's right - she'll flash her cha-cha after removing someone else's pants she just happens to be wearing with cocaine in the pocket.

And she'll have a baby strapped to the hood of the car while she crashes through that shopping mall. Then she'll barf all over the window display at Forever 21 and blame it on a broken jar of peanut butter.
