RE: People mag's credibility: Under Lindsay Lohan's picture the caption reads that she "maintains her porcelain complexion by staying out of the sun." Porcelain complexion, my ass. Although I guess going to the tanning bed 24-7 does count as "staying out of the sun" technically speaking.

Back on topic: I'm just taking this JR as one of the 50 Most Beautiful thing with a grain of salt. Clearly it is really the 50 Most In the Spotlight people of the moment. JR is nothing special.

A couple of years ago, a professor or scientist, or someone, put together bits and pieces of people's faces to make the most beautiful female face ever. Mona Lisa's forehead was in there as well as JR's mouth.

Her MOUTH! I think it's her ugliest feature and I loathe her top lip. It has no shape at all.

Off-topic: Oh boy! I can't wait to pick up the new "People" just to see how many astoundingly plain, or even downright ugly, celebs they're passing off as beautiful this year. I love the mag, but their "most beautiful" list is a joke. Calista Flockhart was actually on it once!

As for Julia: she looks pretty sometimes, but fugly other times. And as for her being a big fat "hands on" mom, I've seens plenty of paparazzi pictures of her nannies pushing the kids around with Julia nowhere in sight. That doesn't make her a bad mother, but it does make her a hypocrite, since she talks like the babies can't function without her.

I went to the library this morning, and there was a woman at the counter loudly complaining about a DVD she checked out. The movie was Closer. Her complaint, and I quote,"I checked out this movie because Julia Roberts was in it! I didn't know there was cursing, and all that talking about sex! Imean, my God!" I was really curious about why she didn't read the back of the DVD, or see the R rating. When I finally found the DVD, Isaw why. On the side of the case, where the stickers are that tell what kind of movie it is (western, comedy, etc.), there was a ROMANTIC COMEDY sticker in hot pink, and the back of the case was covered by a call number. I went to the counter and suggested they change the sticker to DRAMA and put the rating on it. The librarian's response, "Oh! We thought that since Julia was in it, it had to be either PG or PG-13."
