Well, I know that! But I'm constantly hearing that she is the most gorgeous creature that ever lived, and how she is stunning at all times and blah blah. I think her looks are overrated, that's all.

Not to be a Julia defender, but I have heard from friends who've seen her IRL that she is a luminous beauty and quite remarkable looking in person. YMMV of course.

You know, whenever I read that phrase, I think of those tiny houses with candles inside 'em.
Does this mean that Julia has a candle stuck up her ass?

Oh, I think she's pretty. Maybe not a classical beauty, but she's got gorgeous red hair, and even if her features are large, they're not hideous. She can look quite stunning when she wants to.
It's her attitude though, that makes her ugly.

Does she use nannies? Just wondering. I haven't heard much about her these days...

I've seen quite a few pictures of the babies' nanny.
Isn't it wonderful ;D. If only she'd stay away.

Yeah...something about her has always really bothered me. Whether it's the blatancy of "May I borrow your husband?" to Vera Moder, or the annoying need for attention when it's not about her (shamelss spotlight-setaling at the Oscars), she bugsbugsbugs. On the other hand, we have similar hair and similar figures (though I have impeccable posture, heh), so I watch what designer clothes are flattering on her. But this: is still how I dress today! Do I need an PMCoG fashion intervention? Help!

I know there's a lot of hate for her here, but I must admit, I love her.
I think she's beautiful, talented, and most importantly, relatively normal.
No Xenu clam shit, no Kabbalah, no Buddhist spiritualism (not that there's anything wrong with any of that -- well, except the clam shit -- I just don't like celebrities who suddenly find whole new religions and throw themselves in head first -- publicly -- when they're in their 30s and 40s. Newsflash to celebrities, most of us figure out what we think about the world before we're that age!). No rehab, no public drug addictions, no arrests...
The breaking up the marriage thing was shitty, as was the A Low Vera incident. I'll admit that, and she seems to have a bit of a problem with men, but I like her still.

Another J.Ro plus is that she really is not a famewhore at all, considering she's a Hollywood top ten and all. When she doesn't have a movie to promote, she disappears, unlike many other celebs. Plus, no perfume, no fashion line, no restaurant, no album, and so on. She makes a movie, promotes it, does the awards circuit thing if necessary, and goes away.
I hate the whole husband=stealing thing, but otherwise, I do like her.
And many other celebs have blatantly broken up marriages and/or cheated, and they are forgiven.
It's tough being a Julia apologist.
