Used to like her; now, not so much. I'd say the breaking point was Conspiracy Theory, but I liked Erin Brockovich and America's Sweethearts. At least the recent spawnage is keeping her doing voice work, so I don't have to have her clogging up my movie screens. I just have to hear about her effin' breasts, her effin' miraculous spawn, and her effin' perfect life. Gaakkk.

I grew to hate her thanks to the hatred of TTMR (The Talented Mr. Ripley). Now, I'm pleased to say we're united in the loathing of Ms. Annoying McHorseylaugh.

When I started lurking in that other place I loved her. Then I went luke warm, and now I'm back to liking her. I think it's my innate love of the underdog. I know it's hard to think of her as the underdog, but when everyone you know (and by "know" I mean post with on the internet) hates her, she does begin to feel like the underdog.

Anyway, I think she's purdy.

I used to like her but after the "A Low Vera " incident, I can't look at her the same. I thought the whole thing was so tacky and disrespectful. Unfortunately most people love her, so I'll have to endure seeing her gigantic teeth on my tv. How I wish she would retire and take Fishstick (and J.Lo) with her.

I've never liked her starting way back in her Mystic Pizza days. I've always wanted to smack her in her smug looking face.

I believe the last movie I saw of hers was Notting Hill and that was for Hugh Grant. I refuse to watch anything she is associated with.

I dont have intense hatred for her HOWEVER...it bothers me to see her with her twins. I see her...and then trailing behind her is a nanny holding two babies.

I seriously doubt Julia gets up at night with her kids and takes care of them like a normal mother without the help of a housekeeper, cook and nanny. But she has no problem going on television and talking about how much she LOVES being a mother. Being a mother in between pilates classes and spa visits.

And I dont know if she's that great of an actress...like Jennifer Aniston, they keep playing the same character in every movie they are in.

I just saw Closer for the second time, and frankly, I was pretty impressed by her. The first time round I was too busy going "Clive Owen! Look what Clive Owen is doing! Wow! Clive Owen!", but I paid more attention to the others this time, and I think she did well (not just "for her", either. Although, you know...especially for her). She held her own (I originally typed "Owen" there...heh), she looked great, and she completely sold some pretty harsh lines, IMO.

Still can't believe she won an Oscar for EB. She's a solid and consistent actress but she's not brilliant. And none of her performances have been anywhere near approaching brilliant even though she came close with Pretty Woman. And that was eons ago.

Lately she's been looking less than attractive, she was positively ugly in Ocean's 12, what on earth's happened to her? She's no great beauty but she's looked much, much better before. I know she was pregnant during filming so perhaps we can put it down to morning sickness and all but still... DAMN!
