Rats I think you're right. I was just talking to a friend who was w me when we first saw that pic and she said it was def. A Low Vera 'cuz it made her think of the plant. Though I could have sworn I saw an Aloha Vera, but my friend thinks I may be confused w a tab headline.

Eh...celebs looking like slobs while out shopping and running erends doesn't bother me. Hell, a few years ago, a friend and I drove five hours to go to a Halloween party, and on the way, we stopped at a roadside rest stop to eat our lunch. I was sitting in public with curlers in my hair-which I normally wouldn't do, but my hair would look like SHIT at the party later on.

Soooo, I'll cut her some slack. I don't get the magazine snark where they photograph some famous person in sweats and sunglasses at an airport or whatever.

I agree with Guinastisica, it doesn't bug me to see a celeb "dressed down" when they're just running around, doing errands or whatever. Plus, Julia does know how to glam it up for the appropriate occassion.

(Please don't take this as an indication that I like her. I was on the fence about her for awhile, but the A Low Vera thing kind of put me on the bad side.)

Gah, I really screwed up the spelling of "errands", didn't I? I originally spelled it that way, then I thought it didn't look right, so I kept changing it. Grrrr...

Anyhoo, I'm with Bonsai-at big events, she always looks great (like I said, I LOVE her awards dresses). But I can't stand HER.

The saddest thing about the 'A Low Vera' moment is that the insult itself is so retarded that being proud of it makes Horseface seem like a gigantic idiot. Seriously, it's a PUN. It's not even witty. I hope Vera just realized what her husband likes in women was complete stupidity and realized she was better off. Because honestly? She was.
