Mmm . . . I always thought she sounded very pretentious in interviews, like she was overcompensating. She has a very strange turn of phrase that I think she affects to sound intelligent, you know, like in her letter to Oprah. But the evil part, yep, can totally see that.

How hard can it be to be considered a genius in Hollywood? Yep, there standards are really high. Anyone with the right publicist and can form a coherent thought is brilliant! Yes, I 'm a bit cynical.

Good point. I have always thought that they should have a decent vocabulary and be some what intelligent from all of the reading of scripts, literature and research they do. I know that many including Julia has an extensive knowledge of literature. It’s been discussed in many interviews and actually tested on a few occasions. Considering most of them have not made it past the 12th grade, I’m positive they are instructed on what to read as part of the grooming process. All I know is all those kids who have packed their bags as teenagers and made it in Hollywood did not arrive as well read as they appear and sound. They ain’t fooling me (ha ha)

I think you have to be pretty smart to succeed as much as Julia has, and for as long a time - especially given her marginal talent. She's clearly no dummy about the business.
But...genius level? What does that even mean? She's not Einstein or Mozart, clearly. Whatevs.
And that filip about CZJ telling her to knock it the fuck off in an interview is hilarious. I think I love CZJ a little bit for that.

What was this? I like Julia pretty well. She doesn't repel me from movies, but I don’t necessarily flock to something just because she’s in it… After America's Sweetheart hooked up with Danny Moder, she wasn't pleased that his current wife wouldn't fold and give him a quickie divorce. Imagine that! So she had a shirt made up that said A Low Vera and went to some outdoor restaurant where she was sure to be photographed. The picture appeared in a mag, Danny's dad got upset, and the rest is swept under the carpet, so as not to tarnish her reputation.

There's a difference between smart and cunning. There are plenty of cunning people out there gifted in saying the right thing at the right time, intimidating, manipulating, schmoozing, and lying to get their way. Doesn't mean they're smart. It just means they are good at playing the "game". That's her. She demonstrates it all the time. Like how she squashed that E! show that was going to highlight her past dating history by offering them an interview. Yes, that seems smart, but really it was just a sly manipulative way to control. Genuinely smart and talented people don't have to play those games.

So she had a shirt made up that said A Low Vera and went to some outdoor restaurant where she was sure to be photographed. She also had a T made around that time that said "ALOHA VERA" which basically meant Bye Bye Vera. She was photographed several times in the shirt and was obviously sending a message. Frankly, she and Danny M. deserve each other.

So what does it say about Goulia's "womanly wiles" when she has to steal(buy) someone elses husband? If she's really "Americas Sweetheart", shouldn't the men have been beating down her door? And what does it say about DM that he'd ALLOW his wife to be treated that way AND be bought out of his marriage? Dork. Vera is better off.
