I actually was the one person who watched her latest reality show, hah. (Don't look at me that way!) And you could tell her mom WAS ashamed of her. The only interesting part of the show was that Charlie Sheen's ex-wife was on it struggling with addiction to Charlie... and crack/alcohol.
At one point Paris tells her mom that she has to stop being friends with this woman, because she has to think about her "brand" and how her association with this addict affects her "brand." Well, her mom lit into her full-force about caring for friends and helping them when they are downward spiraling. Paris, of course, just stared blankly at her like she wasn't understanding this concept of taking care of people you care about.
Another episode showed Paris opening b-day gifts from her family. Her mom was especially proud of a guitar and hat (?) that was signed/owned by Michael Jackson. Paris thinks she is getting a Birkin. When she opens up her gift and sees that it's Michael Jackson stuff, she proceeds to mock her mom to the point where she has to leave the room to cry.
She is not a good human being. There's really no humanity there.

Not that it's okay to verbally abuse one's mother, but why on earth did her mom think Michael Jackson memorabilia would be a good birthday present? Did they come with prescription drugs stashed inside?

Did they come with prescription drugs stashed inside? Kathy and Paris were good friends with Michael, or claimed to be. Paris even said that Michael named his daughter after her. I think that Michael lived with the Hiltons for awhile, too. So maybe Kathy intended for it to be a sentimental gift, or something... who knows.

She is so over. She probably said that shit just so people would start talking about her again. I mean no one cares about her at all; her reality show was on Oxygen for goodness sake, that's the network of "The Bad Girls Club."

Hey Oxygen is where I catch my Roseanne and Living Single reruns *stomps foot*. Yeah anyway Paris is a person I have not thought of in a very long time.

Yeah, Kathy apparently grew up with Michael and stayed a close defender if not friend. And really, he was a superstar, so that memorabilia is a big deal. Especially if it meant a lot to her mother. Paris is just a lousy bitch, and wayyy too old to still be acting this way. She seems to be emotionally and intellectually stuck at about 13. I wonder what went on in that family to produce so many screwy kids?

I dunno, I've been on the receiving end of too many "gifts that mom would want, but have nothing to do with my tastes" and it's like- wow, way to project and not pay attention. From reading an early profile of them, (maybe from Vanity Fair) Kathy had a bit of Dina Lohan-lite going on. The girls were out clubbing in NYC as teenagers, and she seemed pretty proud of their "fame".

At one time or another, we have all gotten a gift from our parents we were less than thrilled with. And most of us accepted the gift graciously and moved on. She is entirely too old to be throwing a temper tantrum about a gift.
It's weird to see her back on the front page. For a while she was a fixture then its was Kim Kardashian and now we really don't care about either one of them.
