That's so weird, especially considering I know her best from her flower-child, happy go lucky flashing David Letterman days.
Seeing her all glammed out and powdered with gold dust or something is just too weird.

Yeah, but even back in the daisy-wearing days she did a Miu Miu campaign. She was even a Guess girl for a while!

She's really working this transformation thing - dropping a bunch of weight and going glam. I irrationally love her, so I give the Gucci ads a thumbs up. I appreciate that she's maturing and is hopefully past the flashing boobs phase. And she looks pretty, instead of the weird shit they often do to celebs, like those ugly ScarJo ads for Louis Vuitton.

She reminds me of her grandmother Dolores Costello, who was gorgeous. But she's really the spitting image of her great-aunt Ethel(shown without makeup in the picture btw) in the eyes and the thin, determined shape of the mouth. Lucky genes. I think you can see the "great beauty" in her looks much better when she's unsmiling, as in the Gucci ads--although I find the AD's posing ideas a little too Lohanesque for my taste.

I find myself staring at her nostrils. It's very awkward.

She has always annoyed me so much. She's always seemed really self-congratulatory to me for taking a stand on a few causes in her own little Hollywood way. Like how she was on that MTV show Cameron Diaz had where they'd go around the world to poor countries and make comments about how great they were for going out "to the middle of nowhere" which is a phrase I really think one of them used, which is something I'm sure the inhabitants of that part of the world would've just loved to know they thought. She's always seemed to me like a 16-year-old who'd attend a charity function because they think it'll make them feel unique and intellectual because they're so much more consciencious than all of their friends. It's like she's pretentious, but in a really juvenile way.
And I think most of her mannerisms are really affected in an attempt to look all babyish and cute.

I am sorry but I am sick of actress doing fashion ads.I think Drew looks good in the Gucci ad but why can't a model be a model and an actress be an actress. I miss supermodels like Linda and Naomi. Also, is Drew still vegan and if so wouldn't she have problem with fur and leather Gucci used in their clothing?

I think Drew gave up being vegan for some silly reason like she was tired of shopping at Old Navy, or something.
I watched Music & Lyrics the other day - I thought she was great in it (and I loooooooved her hair style).

She's definitely maturing better than Winona Ryder, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow.
