Christina Applegate did a really creepy so-called performance when Gwyneth was on Oprah. She videotaped herself singing, "I love Gwyneth" over and over again. This was the show Gwyneth did shortly after Apple was born. It used to be on the Oprah Web site - it may still be. It's super weird - and made me think Christina Applegate some complex from playing a trashy gal all those years and is trying to be associated with someone who is considered "classy."

Okay, it's probably just me, but this is making me sing, "I love chicken, I love liver, Meow Mix, Meow Mix please deliver," over and over in my head. I am pretty sure that this is not what Christina was going for.

Oooh! I just realized that I am also singing it in Dr. Evil's voice. Now I'm very sure that Christina is having an undesired effect on me.

I don't know a thing about him, but he has always struck me as a massive tool for that very same reason.

I once saw him on Rosie O'Donnell's show, long before he was even dating Christina. I'm not a huge Rosie O'Donnell fan, but I thought his responses to her questions were rude and it ended up being an uncomfortable interview. I believe that "massive tool" would have been quite an applicable description of him that day. So, looks do not deceive.

I figured that the breakup had to be about his career basically tanking while hers has continued to thrive. I'm sure that plays a part, even though the talk on the street is that she's been unfaithful.

Ah well...I do give them credit for not living out their marriage in front of the public eye. I was mildly shocked that they were breaking up.

I flove her in Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead but not so much since then. I think it's because she's a FroG, but also because I get the vague feeling she's a lot like her character in A View From the Top.

I saw a small clip of her dancing in Sweet Charity. She didn't look genuine. That's the best word I can come up with. She's not a real dancer and it showed. But it was only a small clip, so I can't say for sure. Anybody here who saw her performance care to comment?

November was...a week ago. They might very well have been separated already. I think what happens with a lot of celeb couples is that they separate informally and don't announce it. Then they start seeing other people, the tabs pick up on it and say they're cheating, and that forces their hand and they have to announce it.

I saw some of that Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas thing several months ago, and he gave off a distinctly jerkish air there. The female lead was also deeply irritating.
