BITCH! I never heard about that. On topic: I do enjoy Mark's movies, ITALIAN JOB was quite enjoyable and I recently watched FOUR BROTHERS which wasn't a horrible movie and he had some funny moments.

I had no knowledge of that stuff -- ironically (or not), in an interview I saw with him (by my Embarrassing Celebrity Crush George Stroumbouloupoulous), I noticed quite a bit of God Talk by ol' Marky Mark. I also saw the interview you're talking about (with the adorable GS) and it actually changed my opinion of Mark for the better. I'm not excusing what he did, it was horrible, but he truly seems to have learned his lesson. I haven't heard of him assaulting anyone else since that time. I mean, there comes a time in a person's life where they've atoned for their past mistakes. He did time for the crime, got out, hasn't assaulted anyone else (or even been arrested for that matter) and now spends his days doing what he loves, raising his family and contributing to society. George and Mark talked a bit about how Mark's created and donated money to programs and camps for inner city kids so they wouldn't be as susceptible to the same life of crime he was. He seems to have grown a lot and he strikes me as a good guy, honestly trying to do right.

He did date China Chow, but as I heard the Traci Bingham story, he just had sex with her while filming a music video...in the ear-range of the entire crew...which doesn't suggest a great amount of respect.

He got 60 days and served 45. 45 days for assaulting numerous people and permanently disfiguring a man by gouging out his eye!!

I don't know why he served so little time... does anyone know the reason? Whatever the case, though, the 45 days seemed to have done what they were meant to do. I'm big on rehabilitation (if possible), the amount of time served means less to me than whether the person re-offends.

That doesn't mean anything one way or the other. People can be racist and yet socialize/date/marry inter-racially. That double standard is more common than most people think. On the otherhand to be really cynical about it, I'm sure he knew this was an issue and he needed the PR of being seen to befriend and date across race to protect from allegations of racism from people who read this about his past. I personally don't think it was all that calculated. But some could see it that way. I always saw it that way. He was usually very coy about who he was dating. Then that story started making the rounds and bam he was everywhere with China Chow. I didn't think it was a mere coincidence that after the story died down, their "relationship" was over. I always wondered if she felt used or agreed to it for the publicity. Marky Mark still gives me the creeps no matter how good his PR is. Shooter was awful.

I hate his stupid movie The Big Hit so much. I hate hate hate movies where women fall madly in love with men who kidnap them, abuse them, humiliate them, hurt them, etc., and it's painted as being romantic. I hate that so much.

Ashamed to say that I have a soft spot for this movie. It's just so ridiculous that it's great. Definitely one that falls into the 'so bad it's good' category. Lou Phillip Diamonds is hilarious in it.

Me again...Mark was in my neighborhood yet again last week, shooting the film adaptation of Alice Sebold's novel The Lovely Bones, which Peter Jackson is directing. He was a real class act to the locals at the set. Both nights he was filming, he came right up to us and signed a bunch of autographs. I only got a few pictures this time, not nearly as good as the ones I took in August during the shooting of The Happening. Mark was moving so fast and people kept stepping in my way this time, blast it. He spoke to us so respectfully and politely, such a contrast to the gruff, macho-type characters he plays in his films. And I swear I'm not some kind of MW apologist, but I did recently watch his episode of Inside the Actor's Studio on YouTube, and I don't know...he seemed genuinely sorry about his past during that interview. He mentioned repeatedly how much pain he knows he caused other people through his past actions, and that he is constantly trying to make up for it now. Here's a link to my MW pics, as well as some general set pics from The Lovely Bones.

This asshole, making possibly the WORST hypothetical statement of all time about the 9/11 hijackings: Dlisted has the same story but with a photo that perfectly captures how much of a tool this guy really is.
