I guess he was the Wilson brother with the drug problem, not Luke. Could be both, one could be under the delusion that his brother's problem is worse than his own. |

I wish they'd just cut the crap and call it what it is. I mean, really, these days overdosing seems like something all the cool kids are doing anyway. It's not like he's going to suffer any professional reprecussions from admitting it. No kidding. I'm more surprised when I find out a celeb doesn't do drugs, honestly. Even the blatant Kate Moss type stuff is far from shocking to me. |

The source isn't all that reliable but National Enquirer is saying he was trying to commit suicide by slitting his wrist and overdosing on pills.

Geez, I hope not. Because yeah, I always got the skeeve vibe from Owen, but he's just so damn funny I didn't care. (Would now be a bad time to mention that "You have lost your wingin' it privileges!" is one of my favorite movie quotes to bust out at work?)

I wonder if he and Kate Hudson got along so well because of their shared love of the nose candy? She's always struck me as the type to be using, I just hadn't heard too much in the way of BI's/gossip. That was my first thought too! Kate and Owen, birds of a feather. I hope the suicide talk is just rumour; it's sad to think of anyone (except perhaps Michael Jackson) being in such a bad spot that they would try to kill themselves. |

Wasn't there a blind vice a few months ago that talked about a brother of a acting family doing heroin , and that family was very concerned and trying to get him into treatment?
That picture on X17 makes him look pale and drawn. Looks like he has been chasing the dragon.

Seriously.
And I keep flashing to his brother's on-screen attempt in Royal Tennenbaums (which Owen co-wrote, for what that's worth).
I guess it goes to show how much depression can be hidden or over-looked.
This actually merited a weekend Defamer post. They never do that.
