We don't really know if this was her first try at another baby. She may have been trying for a couple or three years and it didn't take. Anyway, the surrogatre route may be the one she'll have to take.

Celine's Vegas contract was for three years. I think her son was 2 or 3 when she signed it, and I assume she started trying for baby #2 when her Vegas commitment was over. So Renee Jr. was then 5 or 6 and he's now 8. Maybe she has been trying for 2 years, who knows?
Doing the SJP thing does seem like the most hopeful option for her. Being thin as a pin doesn't help pregnancy either.

Given Rene's age and health, I don't know if they could adopt.
Where do they currently live? Compared to other Canadian celebs, I don't find Celine all that unCanadian.

Most Canadian celebs are Canadian when it Canada and then American everywhere else.

I thought she lived in Quebec.
She seems to reinforce her Quebec heritage when she talks about herself.

No way, she is proud of her French heritage but she resides in Florida and her son was born there.

She has a huge estate, near her family in Quebec. She's very proud of her roots. She lost a niece to Cystic Fibrosis and is very involved with CF in Quebec and Canada. I'm not a huge fan of hers, but she takes care of her family and loves both her province and Country. I just can't hate on her.
