She was the only character who felt REAL in that X-Men movie. I had no idea it was the same girl in Hard Candy and Juno though.

I saw Hard Candy and really liked her in it. haven't yet seen Juno, but its on the list. So sad, Canada has Sarah Polley and Ellen Page. We're got Linsey Lohan and Britiny Spears. It don't seem right, ya know!

I don't understand the criticism about the dialogue and lead character. I've met so many teens (mostly female) who's language is just like Juno's with that sardonic wit, some of that masking insecurities at a tender age. Although, "sea monkey" was a new term I had to put in my lexicon.

Ellen is every bit as witty and "overly articulate" as Juno has been criticized for being. I'd argue that she's even more verbose. She and Michael Cera are proof that there are plenty of teenagers who are culturally literate and quick with a comeback. The kids who are dopes just happen to dominate youth culture right now.

4 realz!
Come on, I had to, and you know it. After Hard Candy and Juno, it's clear she'll have an awesome career if she gets offered the right projects. I have no idea why I'm thinking that she and Sarah Polley should work together, but I really like that idea.

I have no idea why I'm thinking that she and Sarah Polley should work together, but I really like that idea. I agree, altho that much beauty, brains, and talent might cause my head to explode. That's the way I feel about Christian Bale and Heath Ledger acting together - it's an embarrassment of riches. I know this is not the case, but Ellen's face appears so symmetrical. I think she is very beautiful in a classical way. Even though her personality feels very contemporary, I think her looks are period, like she stepped out of a John Singer Sargent painting or something.

Thank goodness! There's hope for Hollywood yet.

Nothing new, I just think she is a freaking doll. I like her clothing style as well.
