I think she's headed for a Britney style breakdown. It's too much, too soon. She's putting on the goodie goodie, always up, always peppy act. Do we ever see her down or real? She's a teenage Bindy Irwin.

You know, even though I'm sick of hearing about how their ugly clothes are so great, and their troll faces give me the creeps, I have to admit that the Olsen Twins are the only girls I can think of who were child stars and didn't grow up to be trainwrecks flashing their crotches and driving drunk, and I suppose they deserve props for that.

They make me feel pretty uncomfortable, to be honest. She's playing at being a sexual person, which may be fair enough - but if she's serious about her avowed virginity, then she's sending out the wrong message not only to Mr. Blue Balls that she's sprawled all over, but to whoever she sent that bra picture to. If this was my 14 year old daughter, I'd go through her for a short cut and I'd put a block on MySpace. And yeah, it might not work, but she's just too dumb not to try. There are so many predators out there and she's just sitting there all Lolita, showin' her bra and trying to look sexy for whoever she's taking the picture for. And it's not even the first time she's done this! Anyone remember this?? The girl hasn't a clue of the dangers. Not. A. Clue.

I agree, I don't think it's appropriate for a girl that age to be taking pictures like these. Actually, I think they're worse than your typical pictures that teens take of themselves. I'm in college myself, I have a sister who's the same age as Miley, and yes, most teens and young people do take silly pictures of themselves being "sexy" for the camera. However, for the majority of them the so-called "sexiness" doesn't go beyond making faces and poses. Miley's seem way passed that. Nobody that I know has pictures of themselves lifting their shirts up, purposely showing their bras, wearing skimpy pajamas, etc. Like I said, these go beyond normal teen pictures.

I'm with those who say she'll be seen falling out of clubs within a year.

Also, I think the bra story is way late in coming. There've been those Facebookspacey-type shots popping up on ONTD for months now.

I'm rather shocked by it.

Is the world running out of intriguing celebrities? Because the people who are rising to mega-stardom nowadays are baffling to me.

With Britney, I could at least sort of understand it. She sang catchy tunes even if her voice sucked. And she did have a sort of eye-catching prettiness (not movie-star beauty necessarily but some kind of spark) that would make you sort of take notice of her. And I suppose she had charisma when she wasn't speaking.

But the rest of these people who have become famous? Paris, Nicole, Lindsay (even though she's an actual actress I don't understand why the media cares about her) ......they all baffle me.

Now there's Miley.....who basically has nothing going for her. No looks, no charisma, no singing ability, no speaking ability, no intelligence.....

I don't even hate her. I just don't understand how she's so famous. Do boys like her? Because at least with Britney I sort of remember being told young men liked her although it was hard to find one in real life who would admit to it.

I'm also surprised by the importance Miley is being given. Obama and McCain did some kind of skit with her on the Country Music Awards. Is it becuse she's goody-goody and therefore safe? Because I can't even imagine any politician years ago bothering with any kind of Disney star or Mickey Mouse member.
