Oh it is a name, I've known a Miley and hear it every now and then. As I said it's not the most common name but it did exist before the Cyrus' decided Destiny needed a stage name. Funny though I think it's more common as a dog/cat name.

Maile (pronounced the same way) is a Hawaiian name with history and meaning. Miley is a couple of syllables that people like the sound of and stick on their daughters. It doesn't make it a name.

She has a horrible, awful, horrible singing voice. One of her crappy songs is on heavy rotation on a few of radio stations and it makes me want to bust my ear drums whenever I hear it.

She has nice eyes. Also, the dark hair makes her look a lot older.
I wouldn't mind her steady climb to tween domination if she had any talent. But she doesn't. She can't sing or act. If her movie comes out at the same time as the High School Musical, I think the world will explode.
On another note, I 've seen pictures of her brother on OhNoTheyDidn't, and that is one sad, scary looking dude. Apparently Disney doesn't want him seen around?

I didn't understand why she was at the Oscars, but she seemed to do a better job of presenting than people like Katherine Heigl or Cameron Diaz. She didn't try to be overly cute or call attention to herself.
