I didn't understand why she was at the Oscars, but she seemed to do a better job of presenting than people like Katherine Heigl or Cameron Diaz. She didn't try to be overly cute or call attention to herself.

Not only that but she looked better than Katherine Heigl. Katherine's hair and makeup people clearly hate her. Miley dressed appropriately for her age and her hair and makeup went well with her dress.

I truly can't stand her. She seems to have a hyperactive personality on interviews, her voice grates, and I find her obnoxious to the highest degree. That said, she did a better job at the Oscars than others several years her seniors...

I guess all those "secret" photos of her in her panties and pjs were just practice for the red carpet. Her pursed lip posturing before the awards was rather frightening and sad.

Ahh yes.. Another mediocre teenageer overexposured to the 'nth degree being foisted into movies when her lame ass was extremely lucky to be successful on the Disney channel. Pit-i-ful. If this is the best we can do here, bring on the all-European actors and Oscar winners for a long, long time to come.

I too, thought she looked just perfect. She looked her age, without looking like she was going to the prom. Looked elegant with a touch of glamour without looking like she raided her mothers (or worse, a streetwalker's) closet. Not an easy line to walk.

Whatever you think of her? Gotta admit she's pretty well handled at the moment. We'll see how long it lasts.

I read an story on yahoo, I'll have to try and find it, where Miley said she wanted to be a respected musician and actress - oh dear God no - another double or triple threat is on the way. And because it can't be said enough, she is not that talented.

I liked her dress too, but I must the only one who thought it was a bit much for a girl who just turned 15 - it made her look older somehow.
