I kept seeing people lumping Jamie Lynn and Adrian Peterson in together as "garbage human beings" so I was very curious what Jamie Lynn's crime was. Is it just being on Britney's bad side or has she gotten notoriety for something else? "Garbage human" is a pet peeve Millennial phrase for me. Somebody makes mistakes or does things they don't agree with and they get written off as a garbage human. Actually, that's just being human. Based on what Britney has posted on her instagram in the past year, she was hurt and angry because she felt Jamie Lynn was spoiled by their parents as a child. Something about Jamie Lynn being allowed to drink chocolate milk and hang out while Britney had to work. If Jamie Lynn was actually spoiled (that sounds more like Jamie Lynn being treated appropriately as a kid), it's not Jamie Lynn's fault, it's the parent's fault. There's the issue of Jamie Lynn riding Britney's coat tails. True, but also Jamie Lynn was made into a child star by the same parents that made Britney a child star and I'm going to assume had the same lack of choice in the matter. Also, Jamie Lynn can't help that she's significantly younger than Britney or that Britney was so successful, so anything Jamie Lynn did after that was going to both benefit from Britney and also be compared unfavorably to Britney. Britney called out Jamie Lynn on social media for supporting the conservatorship and Britney's fans went on the attack. So JL posted a bunch of old text exchanges that showed she was very supportive of Britney getting a different lawyer/getting out of the conservatorship and she was offering Britney practical help in the matter. She was then attacked for violating Britney's privacy. JL may have benefitted financially to some degree from Jamie Spears controlling Britney's finances. There was one item of JL's husband working as a vendor on something for Britney and it certainly did not appear to be a discount rate, although may not have been an excessive rate either. It seems it was pretty routine in the Spears family for Britney's money to flow around pretty freely to everyone else, so there's that. From what I can tell, JL is not perfect, but also is not a big villain in the story of Britney either. Someone saved that IG post in Britney's thread, and here it is: It sounds like Britney was mad that Jamie Lynn had the chance to act like a child- but she was a child. Britney missed out on stuff. Jamie Lynn had it easier to some extent, however, she was nine years younger than Britney. So at that moment that Britney was so angry about milkshakes and not getting the attention she wanted/needed, she was 21, and Jamie Lynn was only 12. And you'll note in all of this that Britney never seems to have actually said, hey, I need you to support me, mom, can you make me a milkshake and give me a hug?

I thought maybe Jamie Lynn had done something people found objectionable on her own, but I guess not.

So there wasn't anything outside of Britney then? I thought maybe Jamie Lynn had done something people found objectionable on her own, but I guess not. I have seen people referring to some rumor that JL was once rude to her costars on some show or something. I didn't bother to read the details because I thought it was a transparent cover for Britney-motivated hate. Similar to the hate directed at Bijou Philips. People know it's pretty weak to hate someone because she unknowingly married a rapist, so they dug up some random rumor about her being rude or not nice to somebody once, and that was their justification for going open season on her.

The Britney fanatics hate Jamie Lynn because of Britney's attacks against her. Despite Brit's claims that Jamie Lynn mooched off her there doesn't seem to be any evidence she was on Brit's payroll I'm sure JL benefited from her sister's money via her parents when she was a kid. I think she hates JL because her sister had the life Britney wanted. She's got a loving husband and kids. She didn't get controlled and put in a conservatorship. (Because she didn't need it) She has a decent relationship with their parents and with Britney's own kids. It doesn't occur to Brit that her issues are the reason she doesn't have those things - because everything is somebody else's fault. Britney is so jealous of her sister it eats her alive. I think it's interesting that Britney doesn't seem to have the same hate for her brother that she does for JL - when he's benefited more from her career than JL.

Britney always has more vitriol for women than men.

True, she didn't lash out at her brother Bryan (who spent years on her payroll) till recently, but she was all over Jamie Lynn (who didn't) right off.

Not that much of a surprise is it? In her formative teen years when she was building her career, she was pitted against Christina, Jessica, Pink, and Mandy and encouraged to team with NSync to build her popularity. So she was taught that women are obstacles and men are pedestals.

I remember reading Bryan hasn't been on Britney's payroll for several years. What does he do for a living? And I also read that Lynne and Jamie Lynn were also somehow on the payroll. Maybe Lynne and Jamie Spears should have managed their money and made an effort to work and keep jobs to support their family. You think?

For me, it's seems Britney is misdirecting her anger towards her parents to Jaime Lynn. I understand, but she's taking it out on her sister, who was probably being prepped for stardom like her big sis by Ma and Pa. It seems like she should talk to a mental health professional about it, but won't because it would remind her of her conservatorship. #FreeBritney?

Britney is just a rich-and-famous version of all those personality disorder-ridden women who are constantly posting junk on social media about what strong women they are and how no one ever asks the strong woman how she’s doing and crap about their zodiac sign and which wolf they were on this clickbait test and how it shows how strong and misunderstood they are and strong strong strong zzzzzzzzzzzz. Oh, and how they’re empaths and no one else can understand how that feels. I feel for Britney, because between her parents’ wildly inappropriate methods of pushing her to stardom and keeping her there, predatory men in the music industry, apparently limited intelligence (or maybe that’s just how it appears because her emotional development stopped at age 15 and that’s not a good look for a 40-something woman, and her genetic heritage of mental illness, I’m not sure she ever stood a chance. Did Jamie-Lynn get a better hand emotionally and cognitively? Did her parents fix some of their mistakes with subsequent kids? Was there just less pressure on her because she wasn’t a phenomenon like her sister and not bringing in the millions Britney was? I don’t know. But even with some of the things we’ve heard whispered about what may have happened to her in Hollywood, she is clearly better adjusted than her sister, and her sister clearly resents that.
