Not that much of a surprise is it? In her formative teen years when she was building her career, she was pitted against Christina, Jessica, Pink, and Mandy and encouraged to team with NSync to build her popularity. So she was taught that women are obstacles and men are pedestals. I agree with this, but also, all women (and men) are taught this to some degree by a misogynistic society. It's up to us as adults to reject toxic messaging and adopt healthier perspectives. Her compatriots have learned, and I don't see Christina, Jessica, Pink or Mandy engaging in this as grown women. At some point, I wish Britney supporters would acknowledge that a lot of her problems are internal and not imposed upon her by the external world.

I bet the maturity and self-reflection of her former peers derive from close relationships and talking to therapists. Jamie most likely has used those resources. Unfortunately, Brit won't or can't do that.
