Here's Smith's Episode I review. This was probably the closest to an Episode II review a quick Googling brought me

You know, just no. I was undecided for a little bit of this but considering how much marketing is going on before the movie makes it out to the theaters--come on, a freaking book and a freaking video game are being put with spoilers before the freaking movie, that has to be the ultimate sign of arrogance towards the viewing public--I'm just not going to bother. Yeah, it looks cool, which proves that Lucas can make trailers. But after two movies, I'm not going to fall for it again.
I know the ending, huzzah. No sense in wasting $10 to verify what I know.

MZ, I'm with you. Mr. Wolf and I were so underwhelmed by Eps 1 and 2 that we've decided to have a "Let's Make Fun of a Movie" party surrounding it.
Anyway...regarding Kevin Smith:
Message for Kevin: Bitch, please.
Had anyone seen the VH1 "When Star Wars Ruled the World" special? Where Smith said that he was glad the Star Wars trilogy ended when it did or else he wouldn't have had a chance to have a life? I can't stand Kevin Smith already, but that inspired even more HATE. Didn't anyone send him the memo that is was THREE FUCKING MOVIES that he had NOTHING TO DO WITH. How were they going to stop him from having a life?
Proof positive that he enjoys being up Lucas's ass. I don't even know why he didn't try and weasel himself an appearance in one of the prequels.

I am really excited for the movie (pleasedon'tsuck...pleasedon'tsuck), but this irks me, too. I am trying hard to stay free of spoilers and I've had to be super-careful in my online reading, now that the book is out.
FiggyPudding--I think I've seen that ad, too, and was a bit concerned. However, I also saw Hayden's GMA appearance and liked the (short) clip of the scene between him and Ian McDiarmid.

Wasn't this true for Eps 1 & 2 as well? The soundtrack usually comes out before the movie too.

Hey-is that rock still available?
I can't wait, I've read the novel, and I cried. You guys can fight over Hayden/Anakin, and I'll comfort Ewan/Obi.
Although I agree, Natalie isn't that great. Carrie Fisher was coked out of her ass during most of Empire, and even then she could've acted circles around Portman.
Oh well, can't win 'em all.

Yeah, I remember picking up the CD before Phantom Menace was release. Second-to-last track was "The Death of Qui-Gon Jinn." Thanks, fucktards.

It's wrong. I know I should not laugh at your misfortune, but this was damn funny. Fucktards--heh.
On topic: Please don't let this movie suck...

Some loser at USA Today wrote an article the other day about it's PG-13 rating, then proceeded to detail every pivotal scene. No spoiler warning. Stupid rat bastards.
