I think only Emma and some of the girls are really around Dan's height. Most of the other cast members tower over him. I think they try to make Bonnie slouch because she's taller than he is. . I bet they were relieved the movies ended before Bonnie grew taller. I'm kind of glad they didn't fudge it by using any camera tricks. |

Just saw this, and gawd DAMN, I do not like MovieGinny at all. It only makes my Harry/Luna wishful thinking more intense... plus the whole thing with MovieLuna being AWESOME.
The dance scene would've been okay but it was a little too long, a little too more-than-friends. It really seems like MovieHarry has more chemistry with every female peer compared to MovieGinny.
ETA: Almost forgot, I think Tom Felton was really good as Draco, especially when you consider that he didn't actually have any lines, really, during the entire movie.
I also wonder if they're going to throw Dudley and Harry's goodbye in the next movie. I think they might've been going for "Harry's totally alone and abandoned and no one cares" thing.
Oh, and too much Shakey Cam.

I'm sure Bonnie Wright is a very nice girl but this should really be her last foray into acting.
I wish they would give Tom Felton more to do. If they can make up entire scenes for Emma, surely they can do it for someone who can actually act?

Bonnie Wright looks fantatic in modelling pics I've seen of her. I'll say it again, she is way too afraid to look silly or mess up her hair which is why she seriously never moves in those HP films. I haven't seen someone acting this wooden since Mischa Barton's early O.C. days ;-)

Bonnie Wright looks darn near catatonic onscreen. You couldn't even take an amateur and get them to move and emote so little on camera.

On the other hand, I'll say that Emma Watson has done an about-face; her acting DH1 was really great.

Bonnie really sucks. Even worse is that I dislike Book Ginny so to have her portray hert onscreeen makes me hate the character even more. Why didn't bite the dust instead?!

I always wonder about Rowling's saying that one character got a reprieve from death in DH at the cost of another. I doubt she would've killed off the Weasley's only daughter, but I always wonder...was it Hagrid? Percy? Luna? And who bit it instead: Dobby? Lupin/Tonks? It's one of my lingering questions, maybe one day she'll fess up.

It would've been awsome if Ginny would've bit the dust. Then Harry couldn've ended up with Luna like he was supposed to. Harry/Luna shipper talking here, don't me.
