I agree- he seriously looks like Elijah Wood. I kept thinking that watching GOF. Who is the guy poking Emma Watson in the tummy like the Pilsbury doughboy?
ETA: Daniel Radcliff needs to lay off the makeup. It looks really REALLY bad!

ITA, stargirl, about the cute kids. The movie business is very shallow, and I think it's a shame. Sure, they got lucky that Dan, Rupert, and Emma all turned out okay--but Dan, Rupert, and Emma lucked out too. How much would it suck to be thirteen and hear, "Sorry, you just got ugly!" Perhaps it's just my personal interpretation of Hermione that makes me biased against Emma Watson right from the get-go. BTW, those pictures of DR looking down EW's dress? HILARIOUS. I remember when PoA premiered they were looking all canoodle-y... Oh, teenage love!

I thought the rumor was that Dan Radcliffe was "just friends" with one of the makeup artists on the movie. Whom I belive is 26.
I did get to see it this weekend, not as many kids there though, I lucked out since it was a friday night showing. Great movie, I agree on the cutting of the QWC scenes, I really enjoyed that part of the book and wish they had included more than just the opening.

We saw it Friday night and really enjoyed it. I loved the scene when Ron is called up to dance with Professor McGonnagal.

You know, I was thinking the same thing. Poor Neville. But if they had cast a studly pretty boy for that role, I would have had to say they've completely sold out, because Neville basically has to be awkward no matter what.
Wow, I have no words. That's so...Frankie Muniz.

Well, according to a 'Making of..' programme they aired last week over here in the UK, the kid who plays Neville is rapidly growing out of his awkward phase. Apparently they have to put a fat suit on him and 'rearrange' his ears to make them stick out more. I actually think he's pretty cute underneath the geekiness.
As for the Daniel Radcliffe rumours - ewww! That's just not right.

I actually didn't recognize Neville at first in GoF. If he'd get his teeth/jaw fixed he'd be pretty cute.
ETA: I was hoping that was the case SecretSquirrel. Now I want to see pictures of him without that stuff...

Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville, has to wear fake teeth and all that jazz. It's not real, MaryWebGirl.

Apparently, we're not the only ones that see Woodcliffe twins when looking at Elijah/Dan. You might have to scroll down just a bit. I also read that Matthew Lewis wears fake teeth to play Neville, however, after looking at some pics from the GOF premiere, his real ones aren't all that great either.
