Me neither. Especially since a poster on the other thread burned that disturbing image into my brain, of Tommy dressing Thalia in Mariah's old gowns, and forcing her to sing Love Takes Time.

Yay, a Mariah thread! Hi to everyone from the site that shall not be named.

For me, Mariah's albums fall into three categories: Great (Daydream, Merry Christmas, the first album, and Unplugged), Awful (Rainbow-how good can an album be if the best thing about it is a Phil Collins cover?) and Hit or Miss (some good songs, some not so good, Charmbracelet, Butterfly, Music Box, Emotions, did I leave anything out?) I have high hopes that Mimi will be great or at least hit or miss.

I caught a glimpse of Mariah's "Making the Video" on MTV. Didn't get a good vibe from it; hope the album changes that perception. Those pictures of Thalia at the RnR HOF are hella scary.

I like her better with Dark hair, what is with these celebs and blond hair, Mariah, J-Ho, Jessica Alba, Brittany Murphy(she did go back to her dark roots though) its not flattering at all. Its ugly in my opinion, Blond hair does not work on everybody, Okay Eve and Mary J?

Word to that. Although I won't tell Mary J that her blonde looks bad. She might cut me.

Back on topic. . . I like Mariah better with light brown hair, and I like that she has more weight on her than in her early days. She looks great.

I didn't follow the Mariah thread on That Other Board, because I joined it so late...so I have a question. What is this Mimi nonsense? Is it her supposed "alter ego" or something?

I think she looks way better now than she did during the Charmbracelet era. Back then she was trying too hard to get rid of the whole "crazy" label and it showed. Now she's kind of just like, "Fuck it, I'm releasing an album, dammit! End of story!"

Last night M threw a party for her fans in Paris. Her dress is strangely fascinating to me. So ugly yet so... pretty? I'm confused!
