I will totally see it. I don't have any compunction about paying to see it and lining CTC's pockets because I don't have problems paying to see awful films in general (I am part of the problem, help me!) and I don't hate Tiny even though he is creeeepy and Scientology is scary.
I adore a large number of people in the cast and simply would not be able to prevent myself from seeing it even if I thought it looked awful (I think it looks pretty good, actually). I love PSH, Billy Crudup, Simon Pegg and really like Keri Russell and Ving Rhames - any one of those people in a film is pretty much enough to pique my interest or make it a must-see so to have them all in a film is like a Christmas come early for me.
It is sort of stupid because I haven't really enjoyed either of the Mission: Impossible films (the first one was decent, the second... what?) but I am so totally there.

Remember, wait for about a week or so, go in during a weeknight, buy tickets for something else, and then go see it if you want to. That money is going towards stuffing OfTom's mouth with a plastic binky. He can go screw.

All of the above plus Michelle Monaghan and Jonathan Rhys Meyers... it's going to hard to resist...

For a while there I was tempted to see this movie because of PSH. But CTC has just irked me beyond belief. I don't want to do anything to support him or his crazy cult.
So...sorry PSH and JJ Abrams. I wasn't burning to see this in the first place, but CTC turned this from a "maybe" to "no way in hell." I don't think my life will suffer if I don't see MI3. I'm sure it will do well at the box office though. People just want to see stuff blow up, regardless of who is blowing it up.

Well there is so much hate going into this. No, not Cruise cause I cant be bothered by Cruise but JJ Abrams will always have my hate for letting Alias go down the drain. I loved the first movie (Emmanuelle Beart, mmmmmmmmmmm) and was very disappointed in the second because I expected more from John Woo.
I'm ambivalent: I would go see this is it got really good reviews.

Never saw the first two so I'd give this one a miss too.

I haven't heard much about this film in terms of its quality, plot or anything. It seems like most of the pre-release buzz is centered around CTC and his craziness. The cast itself is pretty cool and talented, so I think that is helping mitigate the crazy factor (it is certainly working for me) and Abrams, although untried as a film director, has a good reputation at the moment (even though he let shows go down the drain, his initial concepts are usually excellent). Plus, it isn't like Tom is taking a chance here - he is doing another sequel of two incredibly successful films. It isn't like Tiny is going to play a complex character in a difficult film, he is going to do what he is extremely capable of doing - carrying a big, summer blockbuster.

I'll raise you one better. Not only will I be paying to see this in the theater without guilt or shame, but I'll be seeing it because I've enjoyed the little crazy bastard in everything he's been in. The man makes a helluva good popcorn flick and, when he chooses to. can actually give a pretty damn good performance. I thought Collateral was 2+ hours of higly-stylized poo, but CTC was excellent in the role. Much much better than Jamie Foxx.

Not on a bet, not on a dare.
Won't rent it, either.
