I loved it!! It was so much better than MI2. Tom Cruise did a good job playing Ethan Hunt. I'm impressed by him doing his own stunts. Amazing. I loved the supporting cast as well. I'm glad they decided to throw in the romance, it made the movie more enjoyable.

I went to see it this afternoon under protest, but I enjoy watching movies with my brother, and he really wanted to see it, so I didn't really have a choice.
I couldn't take it seriously because of CTC. Every time he was on the screen I started snickering. The rest of the cast was great, and the plot wasn't terrible for an action flick. If it hadn't had CTC, I would have enjoyed it infinitely more.

I don't think he really does all his own stunts, and those that he does do, you can be assured that he is majorly wired, strapped, padded, and green-screened so that his ten-story fall is actually a two-foot jump into a three-foot thick mattress. Too much insurance and liability. It's all P.R. for The Manliest Man Who Ever Lived.

I had a super-long work day and went to see this afterward. Reallllly enjoyed it. The more preposterous it got, the harder I grinned. The more over the top, the better. That lil dude can seriously run. Even when people laughed inappropriately at the end, it was all explosive, impossible mission goodness. Sigh.

I'm so upset at myself that I actually paid money and supported this film after I went on and on about not doing so, but whatever. It was cheap night so I didn't support it that. The movie itself was pretty awesome, I have to admit. I was a little high so that definately added the effect but I was blown away from all the action. It was non-stop!
I was seriously tripping out when CTC was having that "romantic talk" with Katie v2.0 - I actually thought that was Katie Holmes, I was almost sure of it. Wow, that girl could be Cupcake's double. It was an alright action film, I hate to say that I enjoyed it, but I did. I was surprised to see Felicity offed so soon, I thought she was the second lead in this movie or something, did anybody else think that, too? She was promoted as being such, right? After seeing her small part I remember thinking "Wow, this was the part everybody was going for? Geeze"
I can gladly say though that at the end of the film I was still disgusted by CTC. The girl I was with was like "Aw, I'm in love with him, nothing you can say can turn me off him now!" and I was like "Whatever, he's Scieno"...so I'm not fully converted, at least. I still think he was the worst part of the movie.
ETA: I'm giving it a good review but I think it says a lot for a movie when somebody asks you what your favourite part was and you respond with "The opening credits were awesome"

I had moments of Katie Holmes confusion too, bobblehead. I blame exhaustion. Laurence Fishburne and Rhys Myers were my high points--TC was sort of a necessary evil for me.

I bought a ticket to Friends With Money and snuck into see this instead (no $$ for the scienos.). The movie was ok, I liked all of the other actors but CTC was pretty bad. And as a producer, he must have insisted on all of those running scenes. I swear there were at least 10 scenes of him running and running and running. It was absurd. Also, CTC was so intense during the movie, even in the non-action parts, that his "acting" took me out of the movie completely. I think this is the last time I'll see a CTC movie in the theater. I could have used a fast-forward button tonight.

Every time he started running I thought "Like a cheetah, CTC! Like a cheetah!"
