They are in their fifties, the days of doing wild & stupid shit are over. I figure they will settle into old age as a casual couple, much like Charles & Camilla were for decades. They might remarry if they feel their daughters or grandchildren might want them to.

I thought Edward was the brother rumored to be bi or gay? Sunny- Apparently BOTH Andrew and Edward are rumored to swing both ways. In the 1990s I heard more about Edward (with rumors dying down after he married Sophie and they had kids). The "Andrew is gay/bi" rumors started last decade IIRC, and picked up speed when he started hanging around more unsavory characters and his financial scandals started popping up. God I hope Chuck chucks Andrew and his daughters off the royals list when he becomes king! back on topic, I think Andrew and Sarah are made for each other (and that's not a good thing in my book!)

Just read that Sarah married Andrew 29 years ago today. Got a wave of nostalgia because I remember getting up to watch their wedding when I was 8 years old. I was completely in love with Sarah and thought she was so pretty and fun.

29 years??! Holy moses. They had the most "fun" royal wedding in that they truly seemed to be in love, Sarah looked the best she's ever looked, her and Diana were still buddies, Andrew was still somewhat good-looking and things were loose and not as stuffy as Charles and Di's wedding.

Aww. I remember that, too--my mom loved the back of Sarah's gown because it reminded her of her own gown, which she proceeded to bring out of the hall closet, rip from its archival box, and make me try on. A year later, we were redesigning it for my wedding.

I was there! I was taking a four-week class for teachers in London, and we had the day off to watch the wedding. I still think that Diana waved right at me as she rode by.
Incidentally, it was an amazing feat of crowd control, IMO at least. There were barricades down the street, but the parents would pass their little kids to the front for a better view. The police would pick them up and place them in front of the barricades to watch the procession. At the end of the show, the police calmly lifted each kid again, and his or her parents would claim it. Also, as dumb people from the US, my classmates and I had neglected to bring any food, so the nice people around us shared their sandwiches with us. We thought the shops would be open, but most were closed.

I remember that. It was 1986 and I had to babysit a damn neighbor kid all day (I was 16), which annoyed me because I wanted to watch the royal wedding stuff. Diana was clearly not in a happy place in her life. I remember her blue polka dot dress.
Fergie's dress was lovely. Love the ivory satin.

I remember how everyone (especially Charles and Di) was wondering if Will, quite the hellion at the time, was going to wreck the ceremony.
