I knew when she married a man whose last name was Rocknroll Apparently he's changed his name to Edward Abel Smith--or I'm guessing that was his legal name all along? |

He's changed his name legally three times, according to the papers.
He was born Edward Abel Smith. "Abel Smith" is apparently a double-barreled surname with no hyphen.
He legally changed his name to Edward Rocknroll before he met Kate.
He later changed his name back to Edward Abel Smith.
He recently changed his name again to Edward Wolf Winslet Abel Smith.
I guess once you are familiar with the legal process of changing your name to something stupid, it becomes easier for you to keep changing it if you feel the need to throw something stupid like "Wolf" in there. "Wolf Winslet" was apparently added to show kinship with his son, Bear Blaze Winslet.
I persist in believing this man is an idiot, and Kate will divorce him, but they keep hanging on.

Kate's out there singing his praises as a "superhot, superhuman stay-at-home dad" which has the whiff of overcompensating. She told this riveting anecdote about him:
That was the entire anecdote.
And as per usual, Kate explained why he added "Winslet" to his name, but did not mention the "Wolf" part. She's always been embarrassed about the name thing.

I enjoyed Mare of Easttown but still dislike Kate Winslet intensely and am not looking forward to awards season with her. Her and Scarlett Johanssen are unbearable and for much of the same reasons.

Regular folk are stuck with our boring AF names and can't go adding random animals or music genres and then switching it up whenever we feel like it. |

He's Richard Branson's nephew, so it's not like he'd be short of a bob even if he wasn't married to Kate. But, yeah, he sounds seriously immature. |
