Yeah, I just don't see how she can lose THREE dress sizes. From what I remember, she was a UK8, which is a US6. She'd look skeletal if she lost three sizes down from an 8. And she looks thinner but normal in that Jarhead premiere pic.

Yes, bfrog that was it, thank you.
And I agree... it's not what I would call divaesque wanting photo approval if you can, I mean, who wouldn't?
ETA: If she was a UK size 8, she was already a Small...three dress sizes would be a UK size 4, and I really couldn't imagine someone with Winslet's bouild to be that small. I had a hard enough time trying to find anything smaller than 8 in UK.

Anyway, I hope she doesn't have plans to lose more. Stop Kate! Stop!

Yeah, she still has meat on her arms - when the arms turn to toothpicks, then you know a person is getting too thin. In that Jarhead pic she just looks like her hips are a little smaller.
But yeah - Kate, we don't need another Skeletor in Hollywood. That town is already full of them.

From what I heard at ONTD, she's denying the three dress sizes. Let's hope so.

Maybe people mean "three dress sizes" from her Titanic era figure? I have seen the emerald Oscar dress she wore the yr she was nominated for Titanic in person at Christies and it looked like a US12. So if she is a US6 now, that is 3 dress sizes.
BTW, the largest dresses at that Christies auction was the red Versace dress worn by Cindy Crawford. The second largest was w/o doubt, Winslet's

Wasn't that 8 years ago or more?

As if we needed another reason to love her. With all the emaciated Kates running around (Hudson, Moss, Bosbland), it's good to hear from one with a realistic view of her body. Then again, if I looked like that after two kids, I'd be pretty darn pleased with myself, too.

I had a hard enough time trying to find anything smaller than 8 in UK. You're right. A UK size 8 would be a US size 4, which is pretty skinny, and would make her a US size 0 (UK 4) now! There's no way she's a size zero, and thank God for that. As far as I'm concerned, no one looks their best at that size.
