I've never been into Star Trek, but I saw an article about the cast in my paper today. They had me at John Cho (because I'm just his bitch), but then they go on to add Simon Pegg? I'm going to have to see it twice!
ETA: Forgot what my av is right now. Yeah, Sylar doesn't hurt, either.

I want to love this, but I hope it doesn't turn into Star Trek Babies or StarFleet Academy Musical.
Bana, Quinto & Pegg will pull my ass into a theatre though.

Crap, I searched and everything! Anyone else excited for the upcoming movie? The new [blue]trailer[/blue] is probably one of the best I've ever seen. I was initially wary of the basic premise of Young Kirk, Spock, et al. but now I think this was the only way to go. Even though I grew up watching the more recent shows, the original characters are the icons of the franchise. Feel free to discuss the other ten Trek movies as well. KHAAAAAN!!!! |

By no stretch of the imagination am I a Star Trek fan, but the new trailer is awesome. I'll definitely go see the movie, if only for Bana, Pegg and Bruce Greenwood.

I have no interest in Star Trek whatsoever, but oh my GOD, the cast is so gorgeous, I am all over this.
